The overall aim of the Rivers and Ranges Community Leadership Program (RRCLP) is to increase the capacity and resilience of communities by strengthening local leadership. The funding from the MTCF provided the assistance to support two individuals from Murrindindi Shire to attend the RRCLP program.

The program develops community leadership capacity by providing opportunities for emerging leaders to build their skills and confidence. It also helps to facilitate a network of community leaders, to support emerging leaders who can be instrumental to community change.
