Executive Officer, Robyn Hill, attended the opening of the upgraded facilities at Flowerdale’s Spring Valley Recreation Reserve on Australia Day.

The Foundation supported the upgrade of the facilities through a grant made to the dedicated team of volunteers at Flowerdale Sports Inc. Through their hard work, they were also able to attract funding from Murrindindi Shire Council and the State Government to upgrade bathroom facilities.

The Rec Reserve was the location of Flowerdale’s temporary village after the 2009 fires; this grant was supported through the Foundation’s Bushfire Recovery Fund. The final grant round for this fund opens on 16 March.
